The most impressive N95 feature has got to be the 5 megapixel autofocus camera with Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar optics and a built-in LED flash. The camera, which is located at the back of the device and is protected by lens cover, is a class leading feature among smart phones. It is also an excellent 5 megapixel digital camera. Its video recoding capabilities are perhaps average, but its photography capabilities are top notch, and produces photos with vibrant colors and sharp lines quite easily.

Video

It's video recording capabilities are excellent for a phone, but only average for a budget camcorder. Nonetheless, it records VGA video at 30 frames per second and produce video clips without the graininess that is associated clips shot on a camera phone. It may not replace your camcorder but is excellent for impromptu, unplanned video recording.

Music Player

The music player is excellent and can play MP3, WMA, W4A, AAC, AAC+, and eAAC+ music files, as well as music files that are protected OMA DRM 2.0 and WMDRM. The N95 features a standard 3.5mm headphone jack to make the multimedia experience more rewarding, as well as a Visual FM radio. The built-in stereo speakers are also of a very high quality. Then there's also a built-in equalizer and A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) support to allow you to stream stereo music to Bluetooth headphones and speakers.

Video Player

The video player is equally impressive and, being a RealPlayer media player, it can play MPEG-4, 3GPP and RealVideo 8, RealVideo 9 and RealVideo 10 video clips. Video playback on the N95's huge screen is excellent; however, the N95 features an AV connector and cables that you can use to connect the N95 to a monitor, television, or other output device.

GPS receiver

On top of all this, the N95 features a built-in GPS receiver that quite sensitive and will continue tracking indoors and under heavy foliage once it has a satellite fix has been obtained. The N95 might not be as sensitive or as accurate as SiRF Star III based receivers, but it is excellent for a smart phone.
